Design: DNA was extracted from the zoospores using a standard hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide protocol29, and RNA of the zoospores was extracted using an E.Z.N.A. Fungal RNA kit (Omega Bio-Tek).Genomic DNA library of fragment sizes of mean length 2 kbp was generated using a PacBio RS DNA Template Preparation Kit. The libraries were run in two SMRT cells of a PacBio RS analyzer at the U. Michigan DNA Sequencing Core.
